AIHS Governance model
The institute has a well thought and effective governance and operational structure. The Board of Governors is the governing forum with the core responsibilities of:
- Overall oversight of the Institute.
- Set strategic direction; Build community relationships.
- Monitor the quality of education provided,
- Establish ethical standards, values, and compliance.
- Appraise CEO’s performance and monitor his or her progress.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall be leading the administrative and academic affairs of the institution and shall be reporting to the Board of Governors.
The CEO in consultation with the Board of Governors shall appoint the executive committee which is the highest operational forum and make day to day operational decisions.
The Principal of College of nursing shall be leading all the affairs related to the College of Nursing and oversea the teaching faculty. The principal shall be an ex-officio member the executive committee and shall be reporting to the CEO.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be leading the administrative team including HR & Finance departments. The COO shall be an ex-officio member of the executive committee and shall be reporting to the CEO.
